The De Mel Building at 103, Chatham Street, Colombo 01, is home to H. L. De Mel & Co. (Pvt) Ltd. The De Mel Building was built in 1921, is over 20,000 sq ft in extent, and consists of a basement and three floors. It is listed as a Heritage Building and considered to be of historic and architectural value by the Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka and the Department of Archaeology.
